Tour of the Vanoise Glaciers — Gallery

It’s been three weeks now since I got back from France, having completed a 6-day trek in the Vanoise Alps. This was everything I was expecting and more, and, despite a worrying lack of fitness, made for an immensely enjoyable holiday.

On the GR5, Vanoise Alps.

  1. Excellent photos, Paul
Featuring perhaps a female robin, and almost certainly Devils-bit Scabious (Succisa pratensis), probably also to be found in your local meadow – maybe still in flower!

  2. Thanks Martin. I’ve updated the captions for the relevant photos, and am happy that I correctly identified the harebell :-)
